Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Edac AI application, website, and related services (the “Service”) provided by Edac AI (“Edac,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

The Service

Edac AI is an AI-powered personal assistant organized into Skills — including Chat, Study, Fitness, Cooking, Calendar, and Money — that help you plan and manage everyday life. Features, Skills, and plans may change, launch, or be discontinued over time.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You are responsible for your account, for keeping your login secure, and for all activity that occurs under it. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Subscriptions and billing

• Paid plans (such as Everyday and Family) are billed on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe, at the price shown at checkout.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
• Family plans bundle individual seats under one bill; each member keeps their own account and data.
• Prices, plan features, and included Skills may change. We will give notice of material changes where required.

Bank connections

If you connect a financial account, you authorize us and our provider Plaid to access transaction and account information from that institution to power the Money Skill. You represent that you are authorized to connect any account you link. You can disconnect at any time. Financial features are provided for informational and organizational purposes only.

Not professional advice

Edac provides general information and tools — not professional advice. Content from the Money Skill is not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice; content from the Fitness Skill is not medical advice; content from the Cooking Skill does not replace guidance for medical dietary needs or allergies; and content from the Study Skill is an educational aid. Always use your own judgment and consult a qualified professional before making important decisions. Verify anything important, and do not rely on the Service for emergencies.

AI-generated content

Responses are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them. Given the nature of AI, different users may receive similar responses, and we make no guarantee that generated content is unique.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or infringing.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Upload content you do not have the right to use, or that violates others’ rights.
• Use the Service to build a competing product, or abuse it in a way that harms other users or our providers.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you provide. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit that content as needed to operate and improve the Service (including sending prompts to AI providers to generate your responses). You are responsible for the content you submit.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Edac and protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or to use the Service except as permitted here.

Third-party services

The Service integrates third-party providers (including Clerk, Stripe, Plaid, AI model providers, and others). Your use of those integrations may also be subject to their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will be accurate or reliable.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Edac will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you within the Service. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
